Soap Stamps are a great way to customize your soaps without molding your soaps into individual shapes.
Depending upon the formulation of your soap, the soap may be ready for stamping as soon as it's unmolded. Softer and/or super fatted soaps may require a few days of aging. The soap should not stick to the stamp; if it does, the soap needs to harden a bit.
After use, clean the stamps using a brush and water. Dry thoroughly before storing.
Basic instructions for Soap Stamping:
1. Center the stamp on the bar of soap.>
2. Lightly tap the stamp into the soap.
3. You're done!
Idea:
Saturate ink pad with food coloring or your favorite soap colorant, then ink the soap stamp, or paint on. Tap the stamp into soap. The dye creates a lovely "background" and adds an extra dimension to the stamped image.
