Medium ovals are used on the arms, thighs and calves, in the palms, under the arches of the feet and at the back of the neck, and for gliding strokes on smaller areas. Ideal for topping up a set or building your own.

About this stones
A pack of twelve medium flat oval stones in natural black basalt, hand shaped and polished with no wax or dyes. The slim oval shape sits neatly in the hand.

How to use
- HeatingHeat in a stone heater or water bath to around 50–55°C. Always test each stone on your own inner forearm before placing it on a client, and use a towel or sheet barrier for placement stones.
- In treatmentPlace in the palms, under the arches of the feet or at the back of the neck, or oil and glide along the arms, thighs and calves.
- CareWash in warm soapy water after use, dry, then rub with a little oil to keep them dark and smooth ("seasoning"). Never heat stones in a microwave or oven.

- Always test stone temperature on your inner forearm before use.
- Never leave heated stones on bare skin without checking with the client.
- Avoid hot stones on broken skin, areas of reduced sensation and over varicose veins.
- Check with a doctor first if pregnant, diabetic, or with circulatory or heart conditions.
- Keep out of reach of children.
Storage: Store clean and dry in their box or a soft bag, away from knocks that could chip the stones.
