Description
White Grapefruit essential oil is cold pressed from the peel of Citrus paradisi, sourced from India. It has a bright, sweet and tangy citrus aroma, crisper than pink grapefruit, and as a top note it lifts a blend instantly with a fresh, energising character.
Its zesty aroma is traditionally associated in aromatherapy with a positive, revitalising mood, and it is popular in morning diffuser blends and room sprays for a fresh, clean atmosphere. It pairs well with herbs, mint and other citrus. Like other cold-pressed citrus oils it is phototoxic, so avoid sun or sunbeds on treated skin for 12 hours.

Uses
- Diffuser or vaporiserAdd 4–6 drops to your diffuser or oil burner with water for a fresh, energising room aroma, on its own or blended with mint or rosemary.
- BathMix 2–3 drops into a tablespoon of carrier oil or unscented bath base first, then add it to a warm bath. Never add undiluted essential oil to bath water.
- Massage and aromatherapyIf you use it in massage, aromatherapy or other skin applications, always dilute it in a carrier oil at around 1–2%, roughly 6–12 drops per 30ml, and avoid sun or sunbeds on treated skin for 12 hours. Patch test first.

Safety & storage
- For external use only. Do not take internally. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting and seek medical advice.
- Never apply undiluted to the skin. Always dilute in a carrier oil.
- Phototoxic. Avoid sun or UV exposure, including sunbeds, on treated skin for at least 12 hours. It is also a skin irritant and sensitiser, so patch test the diluted blend for 24 hours first.
- Keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. Do not use on broken or irritated skin.
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for babies and young children, unless advised by a qualified practitioner.
- Combustible and very toxic to aquatic life. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Storage: Store tightly capped in the original dark glass bottle, away from heat and direct sunlight.
