Description
Tea Tree essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, grown in Australia. It has a fresh, warm, terpenic aroma with a slightly herbaceous edge, and is a sharp, green middle note and one of the most widely used essential oils around the home.
Its clean, fresh scent is popular in diffuser blends and natural cleaning sprays, and it has long been part of everyday skin and scalp care routines. It blends well with lavender, lemon, rosemary and geranium, which soften its sharp, green character. Use fresh oil only, as aged tea tree is more likely to cause skin sensitisation, and never apply it to cats or dogs.
- Fresh, warm, terpenic aroma with a herbaceous edge
- A clean, green scent for diffusers and natural cleaning sprays
- A long-standing staple in everyday skin and scalp care routines
- Softens beautifully with lavender, lemon, geranium and rosemary
Blends well with: Cinnamon, clary sage, clove, geranium, lavender, lemon, myrrh, nutmeg, rosemary, rosewood and thyme
